To encourage reading & dissemination of knowledge by sharing books in open libraries in public gardens for all age groups in multiple languages
Following the success of Project Smiles which was focused primarily on the children in Kashmir, Abbas & Ismat wished to bring the same joy of reading to the children and adults of Mumbai. This idea materialized with the installation of the First Library4all in the Matoshree Ramabai Udyan in Lower Parel. This beautiful garden maintained by the MCGM is visited daily by adults, senior citizens, young people & children
Mrs.Hasu Shah, Dir Comm Serv Non-Medical ,was instrumental in swiftly arranging the requisite permissions through the Asst. Municipal Comm GSouth ward of MCGM, Mr. Sharad Ughade who was equally enthusiastic about the concept. With the Rotary Club of Mumbai Lower Parel supporting the program, its dynamic President Mr. Bhavik Shah ensured the plan moved forward rapidly.
The Library Box itself has been designed in attractive colors while keeping in mind weather conditions and will be able to withstand rough use.
The First Library4all was inaugurated on 6th February 2022 at the Matoshree Udyan by Rtn. Sunil Shinde, MLC and Rtn. Rajendra Agarwal, District Governor Rotary District 3141, marking the beginning of the project!
This unique idea of having a free library in neighborhood gardens has been very well received. The response was unanimously appreciated by all as a need of the times.
With the implementation & success of the first Library4all, Abbas & Ismat look forward to placing a Library4all in municipal gardens across Mumbai.
The Second Library4all was installed on 6th June 2022 at the Sunita Datta Nalawade Manoranjan at Ganpatrao Kadam Marg, Lower Parel.

The 3rd Library4All was instituted on 4th July at MESCO Mahim.
As the new Academic year 2022-2023 began, books for Higher Education have been placed in a cupboard the NGO which also provides student loans. and therefore has a lot of deserving students visiting the premises.
Medical, Engineering, Dental, MBA, Marketing, Technical, SAP and many more are available.
Though there is a slight change in the venue, the principle of Library4all is maintained - spreading knowledge for FREE.

The 4th Library4All installed September 23rd 2023 at Zilla Parishad Primary School Wagyachivadi (Borli) Tal: Igatpuri Dist: Nasik. General Knowledge, Storybooks and Educational Books in English and Marathi for children upto Class 4 have been provided. This school has been adopted by the Inner Wheel Club of Bombay North. On visiting the school as a member of the club in July 2022, Dr.Ismat Gabula felt the children would benefit from Library4All.
The 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th Library4all units were inaugurated on the auspicious day of Dussehra 5th October 2022 by Mr. Jitendra Pardeshi, Superintendent of Gardens, Mumbai & Mr. Avinash Yadav, Asst. Superintendent of Gardens, G/South Ward.
5th Library4all unit, sponsored by Inner Wheel Club of Bombay North was installed in the Bhagwan Buddha Garden, Khan Abdul Gafar Khan Marg, Worli Seaface.
The 6th, 7th & 8th Library4all units were sponsored by Gabula Foundation.
6th Library4all was placed at Adya Shankaracharya Garden,
Sir Pochkhanwala road, Worli.
7th Library4all was placed at Shri Balasaheb Keshav Thackeray Manoranjan Maidan, Pandurang Bhudkar Marg, Lower Parel.
8th Library4all was placed at Mahesh Madhukar Bhobhate Manoranjan Maidan, Pandurang Bhudkar Marg, Lower Parel.
The 9th Library4all was installed on 5th November 2022 at 2258 Juniperberry Drive, San Rafael, California,USA. This is the second Library4all outside India!

The 10th Library4all was installed on 20th November 2022 at 303, North 9th Street, San Jose, California, USA. This is the second Library4all outside India!

The 11th Library4all was installed on January 10th 2023 at the Vamanrao Mahadik Udyan, Parel East. This unit was sponsored by Inner Wheel Club of Bombay North.
The 12th Library4all was installed on 14th April 2023 at Abhyudaya SPJIMR Andheri.
The 13th Library4all
was placed on May 03 2023
in the Library of SPJIMR Andheri.
This contains mainly light reading for the students as the Library itself is well equipped with ample educational material
The 14th Library4all was installed in May 2023 at Rajasthan Gully Boys Library & Reading Room.
The 15th Library4all was set up on April 26 2023 at the Library of SPCE, Andheri.
Essentially books for light reading are kept here as the library is well equipped with educational material
Library4all 16-23 were set up in 8 Teach for India mentored School classrooms in Mumbai.
Children returned to a new school year on and around June 15 2023 with a plethora of reading material.
